Rail Gas Block fitting issue [56k Achtung!]

I purchased a Dytac Profile VLTOR front flipup sight (dual as a gas block), everything about it is fine except, it is too tight to fit onto the WOC barrel. (Scratch my towards the end) Also the Dummy Gas tube pin doesn't seems to work. Is there any suggestion?

If it's just a bit too snug, go and find a section of wooden dowel that fits inside the gas block just nice, wrap it in 80 grit sandpaper and sand away the inside diameter of the black. Make sure to keep checking the fit so you don't make it too loose.

As for the pin, I haven't seen this particular gas block so I can't comment.

Got it fit today since i have time, took me 90 min with a dremal, lots of fitting attempts which ruin my steel barrel pretty bad, got it in the end, really really tight fit. Heres some pics

Psh, you think that your barrel is "ruined"?

That's a day of battle wear.

Only reason I got it was it has rail so I don't care about the VLTOR. Also Im a magpul whore, any more questions? (I don't want handguard rails cause I don't need it to be heavier, I kinda feel its getting too heavy already...and don't whine about your 12lb gun I want to go light)

Rails don't make it heavier. It's just an extra 105g heavier..

Also if you were that into Magpul, then you should know that the MOE was designed to fit an AR with the triangle front sight.

rails do make it heavier because you'll end up wanting to put a grenade launcher on it! :D an all metal launchers, even a small mosquito, with a loaded king is not so light.

every bits of weight count, why do people all the sudden get a 12lb gun? because they did not watch the grams.

PS, The Real Magpul BUIS is not rated for use on top of a gas block it will melt.
