do not destroy your KSC G26 when upgrading it like I did.

You are going to laugh.
after installing a high-flow valve in the gun and in the mags, I exploded the plastic slide AND the metal slide (both in the same day)

so, blowback is definitely too much for it.
yeah.

hattrick September 14th, 2009 16:21

What brand of metal slide? As long as it didn't blow the blow back unit apart i'd say the blowback was too much for the (and im just guessing here) TW alunium slide. Maybe get your hands on a shooters design, or somthing higher end..

Donster September 14th, 2009 16:24

better show that MikeMcNair guy who frequents these forums.

Jimski September 14th, 2009 16:27

it's the original KSC slide that comes with the full metal g26...

witch is probably made out of monkey metal, witch is in most case not stronger than plastic... lol

best bet would be a aftermarket slide witch is not made from monkey metal...

Yes the fmu ksc's come stock with a TW alunium slide, like i said try shooters design or pgc. (i was under the imrpression you ordered this slide and upgraded it yourself)

Mr Jon September 14th, 2009 16:59

I upgraded my friends G26C with a TW metal slide, tightbore, high speed recoil spring with bearing system, and high flow. That gun shoots fast, hard and awesome. Many rounds through it without a single problem yet :D

Styrak September 14th, 2009 17:02

Yeah, get a CNC'd metal slide like SD, not a monkey metal/pot metal one.

Jimski September 14th, 2009 17:51

ok thanks, where can I get one in country?

where did you guys get yours?

in country? not likely. dont try ordering these on your own either. normally, they wouldn't be a problem, but case the barrel length is technically for a prohibited item (assuming we are talking about a REAL G26), than you are going to have to order your slide through Airsoft Parts Canada. That is what i did with my G19 slide.

Jimski September 14th, 2009 18:05

ok thanks!

MikeMcNair September 15th, 2009 10:08

jimski, you know what i have/had done to mine, and never had an issue. what recoil springs and rod are you using?

fixed :)

KND September 15th, 2009 11:23

well, you can order it from oversea but just to make sure it has a big mark as TOYS on it then it would pass through. I order 2 G16 which is Shooter Design, and PGC. Both of them pass through even it has been opened, again it might be my luck then.
