Annual Halloween reminder: Keep Darwin at bay!

A question that gets asked around every Halloween relates to the use of airsoft and airsoft related gear as a costume.

Don't do it. Your bullet ridden corpse will make the front pages and also make our lives that much more sucky.

For now, I am not looking to spend very much. I've seen some very cheap m16+m203 online but I realize these aren't available to Canada. I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction for a local retailer or at least one that ships to Canada. Help is much appreciated!! Thanks

Screw the WTB, I'd rather the question be asked and dealt with than not.

OP, what your are asking is not only illegal (call your local PD if you don't believe me) but also goes against basic self-preservation.

If I were you, I'd just go out and get a nerf gun. LEAVE IT NEON COLORED. If you are going out of your house with it, any black gun shaped object will get you a bad public reaction.

OH NOES, I hear you cry, I wanted to look cool and a nerf gun just won't cut it! Well, true, but I'm guessing that if you're looking for a very cheap gun you won't have an elaborate gear setup. Kinda hard to look tacticool with a great looking gun when your rig looks like shit.

So basically, dress up, get your nerf gun and have some fun. And when someone pokes fun at your nerf gun, poke them back in the nuts with a few darts. Win win!

As for your return to airsoft, deal with that later.Nothing very cheap will be worth buying, and will be impossible to use to play.

He's just a tall guy that used to bum rides to games.
:D

But he's right about the Halloween. It's tempting to don your full kit and gun and go scare the kids or party like an animal. Well, it's all fun untill the police show up and shine their pistol mounted light to your face asking you to dirty your gucci gear on the ground.

Second picture is a modded paintballgun. Still stupid IMO.

might as well make a gun out of cardboard and make it obvious that it's not real.

or simply spray paint a nerf dart gun.

You can also go buy those 1$ cheap cap guns

We didn't have guns last year, but a group of us were dressed in full multicam gear, cops were waving at us and giving us the thumbs up.

They were more worried about the couple dressed in fake police uniforms (extra slutty uniforms mind you) trying to have sex in the middle of a 4 lane busy street.

Would never bring guns out, but I don't see why gear is included in this thread as a bad thing. It makes costumes so much better...for those of us that can't think of what to wear or wait until the last minute to find a costume, lol.

Gear is totally fine imo, its the weapons. Even a dollar store cap gun will cause a problem, as police cant tell if its real or not at night, so no weapons WHATSOEVER. Trust me, one of my idiot friends bought a cap gun at the mall and started shooting it right in front of the security office, an officer came out hand on his holster. Needless to say, my buddy got in shit. But at least he didnt get shot.
