paintball gear good for airsoft
 

I know this may sound noobish but I was wondering if it's possible to use equipment used for paintball for airsoft, mainly the vest and mask.

Mask, easily yes. You just might not get a good cheek weld on the rifles...
Vest, maybe. Just use common sense, if you're okay tossing mags into pouches meant for pods, by all means have at it.

You can use whatever you want... it will be the degrees of effectiveness that change.

While airsoft and paintball are similar, the equipment is different sizes and shapes. If the paintball vest works fine for you in airsoft, go ahead. Generally though you will find more dedicated rigs to be of more use.

Im pretty sure they make mollie rigs that are for paintball. If you have one of those vests all you need is the pouch/etc

If you are not looking for a real world personification, then yeah. I've seen it done and IMO, it looked precarious and foolish. I mean, it was not doing the job very well, and loosing mags or other equipments was a big risk.

Agreed with Fox, why not just sell your paintball stuff and get actual stuff meant for airsoft? That being said I'm assuming your leaving paintball all together, if no then it's doable, but not the best
