Where is Lykurgus?

Has anyone seen or heard from this guy? I paid for my gun on November 4th and after the EMT was accepted, he/she disappeared. All attempts to contact were ignored (since he did sign on after I had sent him a PM or two), and no attempts were made to contact me.

I have given him notice since Monday (this week) that I would contact the authorities tomorrow (Thursday Afternoon) regarding this issue as he has not gotten back to me, and I have not gotten my gun.

I really hate doing this to people, but I'm short on money, and if I'm not getting my gun, I need my money back ASAP.

If any of you know how to get in contact with him besides PM'ing (preferably a phone number) please let me know so I don't have to get your friend (assuming he is) involved with the authorities.

Dont get me wrong here it sucks that your not getting what you paid from right away but (personally) I think a week is a little early to contact the authorities. My last purchase was about 7 days and that was waiting on one of the Av'ers. Some times life happens.

Granted he is doing wrong by not replying to you and not shipping the item. Just seems a little quick on the draw.

Any how I hope it all works out for ya man. I know its rough to not get what you've paid for.

It hasn't been nearly long enough. The seller in question has not had a chance to defend himself. People who have not directly dealt with said seller don't know what they're talking about. I had a similar incident which was PM'd to the OP. Again, if you haven't dealt with Lykurgus, don't post.

I have had dealings with Lykurgus and he has pulled through. His seller rating is good and his reviews are good, except for some latency in communication, but he should get in touch with you. Did you ask for personal contact info outside of ASC? Did you use EMT? If so, did you try contacting him via his EMT email addy?

Im just offering advice to the OP on how to get his money back.
Has nothing to do with knowing or dealing with said person.

give him more time....he is a stand up guy. Figure a day or 2 for packaging and shipping and then at least 5 days transit...minus weekends and holidays,,,and you'll get your gear....
He is not really on the boards much these days....

No excuse for taking the money, logging after after the payment and not being able to take 30 seconds to write a response. It's not only proper business, but its common courtesy.

Contact your bank or Paypal if you feel the seller isn't doing his part for the transaction.

Personally i would wait until next week.

That's my point it hasn't been nearly long enough to start asking for money back. It's been 5 business days. Takes around 7 business days cross country shipping. The main problem is the lack of comms which several posters have stated they had with this seller. None so far have said they were jipped and needed to take other measures. I personally bought 2 AEGs off him, as soon as money was sent he stopped answering. Both items arrived, he even paid for Xpress post in one case just never bothered to tell me it was shipped.
