Echo1 p90 shit piston
 

A little while ago the teeth on my p90 got stripped in half. I honestly fired about 300 rounds through it and I wasn't being very trigger happy with full auto. Anyone knows what may have caused this and how to prevent it in the future?

Proper gear shimming, check the angle of engagement from the piston to the gear teeth, and not using a battery that's too strong for your setup.

I wouldn't recommend the modify piston you've got to the left there... I haven't had very good experiences with them... I've found the slightest jam will strip 'em pretty badly.

I'd suggest a Prometheus, Modify Ultra or System (not systema, system)

What's wrong with Systema? Thought they were reputable.

Many many people have had lots of issues with the Systema red piston that exists. I myself have never had an issue at all with it, but many people curse its existence. I find it to be a quality item, however that is just me.

Maybe just me, I used a stock TM pistol got from a buddy that left from other upgrade for free and it's just last me forever from last season at paintball field with sub 350 fps set up. I shot at least 2000 rds for every time I went there but my systema piston never last me more than 4000 rds with 375 fps set up for outdoor game, I went 3 of them already last summer and now my outdoor upper mechbox setup with Modify piston from airsoftparts and it still last me until now and about 10 000 rds so far.
