Make your cam water/dust resistant for airsoft

In an effort to open more filming options I have come up with a simple, low cost idea to protect my camera in all conditions. here is a list of what you will need.

-Clear silicone

-Large freezer bag ( zipper style )

-UV lens filter/cover

-Silica packs

-UV lens are camera specific, best to bring your camera with you to get the right one.

-Trace an outline of the lens filter and remember to cut on the INSIDE of your line so the bag fits snug over your lens.

-This is how it should look from the inside and the outside,,,no gaps.

-To complete the seal I opted to screw on the lens and prep for silicone sealant.

-It will be important to make sure that the silicone completes the seal. One or two coats should suffice.

Once my silicone seal is dry I will have more pics showing what the silica packs are for. Basicly if I want to film in a rainstorm I can take the camera off the "monopod", close the bag, and operate all the controls of the camera from the outside while everything inside stays dry and condensation free!
