UBR Stock on an AGM GBBR?
I'm interested in the UBR stock for my AGM GBBR but I heard the AGM has very different threads than any other AEG or GBBR and while the stock tube it comes with can accept any airsoft stocks, the Magpul UBR stock requires it's own special stock tube attached.
Does anybody know if this will work? Is there a special version of the UBR that I need to buy for this to work? I did a quick google and some guy mentions AGM lower reciever and "ACM" UBR stock will work together. I assume ACM is the value Chinese version (and not official expensive PTS version). I think Huang carries these. Has anybody done this or tried this? |
ACM = All China Made = general term for Chinese parts.
Like Dboys etc. |
I believe Kody_1 would be the person who is most familiar with the UBR and its' applications!

All three I have (RS Magpul,PTS and the one from Huang) all have the same thread for the buffer tubes.

AGM uses different therading for their reciever so it wouldn't work.

Been there, done that (With Magpul PTS).
Won't fit, get a G&P GBBR lower. Never heard of a 'acm' UBR, but i wouldn't touch it. Nothing compares to the real Magpul stuff. Cheers. |
Damn, that's what I thought. That ruins the entire image I had for building this gun in my head :)
A guy on Gasguns.info had posted this " AGM buffer tube & AGM lower receiver - OK AGM buffer tube & Prime lower receiver - OK ACM UBR buffer tube for WA & AGM lower receiver - OK ACM UBR buffer tube for WA & Prime lower receiver - OK " So I thought there might be a chance this would work with the ACM. |
