grenade launcher

Hey was thinking about getting a grenade launcher but i have a couple questions.
i was thinking aobut getting the madbull short one and i was just curious:
what kind of range can you expect with these things? if i was using 24rd shells.
and i also hear that these are a pain to maintain? is this because of like oiling them and stuff? or cost wise with propane?

thanks alot for the help.

Propane won't go far, get a co2 adapter from Airsoftparts.ca and run it with co2.

The best nades in my opinion are the paintball ones. Super fast to fill and all you need is some masking tape to cover the hole. Using CO2 is way better than propane.

if i were to buy these....http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...roducts_id=807 is there anyway i can set them off without the grenade launcher itself? like does the propane go into the shells, and i can just hit the back of the sells and it fires?

We used to tape BBs to the back of the shells when we didn't have launchers or had broken launchers. On the back of shells are essentially the same little nubs/gas valves you would find on the back of a GBB mag or something similar. You push and it vents the gas/fires the BBs.

Yes but that's kind of retarded and wouldn't be allowed in "milsim" games.
