SRC HK416 Receiver Compatibility
 

I own a SRC Gen III HK416 and I have been trying to figure out what receivers will fit for it. I previously owned a G36C and do not know that much about the M4 line in terms of aftermarket gear.

I know that the top reciever is different from standard M4s but how about the lower? Will any of the aftermarket ones work?

One thing I want to do is get a cheap all plastic upper and lower set to do some painting pratice on and to see what color combos I like with the rest of my gear. It would also allow me to screw up a few times without caring as much.

I have tried searching but didn't see anything too relevant. Also waiting for the AV to get processed.

You need a Marui M4 lower, or SRC M4 lower.

The followings are NOT compatible:
G&G, G&P, ICS, Guarder, Hurricane

Ken, will it fit Kingarms body?

the reciever i assume is the Body? i saw a SRC gen 3 M4 with a metal Echo body is looked sweet. ill shut up now i should of read the title. its the 416

What about VFC?

the VFC 416 receiver is not compatible with Marui or any other manufacturer.

Does SRC use the 2-piece hop up unit or something? If it takes a Marui body, then as long as you just buy a one piece hop up unit you should be able to use KA or G&P bodies, etc.

Really? I think there was this one guy who fitted is magpul lower to this VFC upper.
