So I'm at a fork in the road of upgrading. I have two options presented to me:
Option #1; Performance (Internal) Upgrade:
As of right now, I am satisfied with how my rifle is performing. I'm getting quite accurate shots ever since the barrel extension upgrade, ROF isn't exactly on a priority, but I'm content with it for the time being. range is actually doing quite well considering the FPS. The only thing I'd like to increase is the FPS. Right now, I'm shooting 320FPS (roughly) with 0.20g. I'd like to see that go higher, but it's not bugging me to no end or anything to make that upgrade. The entire list of internal upgrades that would be done is as follows:
* 1ea.- Modify S110 AEG Upgrade Spring
* 1ea.- Modify V2/V3/V6 High Torque Gearset
* 1ea.- Modify Enhanced Tappet - V3
* 1ea.- Modify Enhanced Cylinder Head - V3 (Except AUG)
* 1ea.- Modify Stainless Steel Shims
* 1ea.- Modify Bearing Spring Guide - V3
* 1ea.- Modify Polycarbonate Piston - Full Teeth
* 1ea.- Modify Air Seal Nozzle - SIG Series
Comes up to about $161.00 total. This is all done to replace the stock plastic parts that I've been advised to replace, as well as make the first steps towards building a high-torque set-up.
Option #2; Utility (Gear) Upgrade:
I am not exactly pleased with only being capable of carrying 4 magazines with me at all times, unless I want to indefinitely have one 1 mag in the gun. My current holding capacity is limited. I only have 2 drop-leg panels that each can hold 2 mags. As of right now, I do not wear a vest. I hate my vest with a passion, it's uncomfortable to hell.
I did, however, find a vest that I believe will suit my needs. Shown
here. This vest would give me an additional 3-5 magazine capacity, as well as being able to bring a bottle of water with me on the field instead of dying from dehydration half way through a game. As well, an additional 4 more mags would be purchased, bringing my total to 8.
The total of this would come up to around $120.00 if I did my math right.
So I'm asking the more experienced players out there, what's probably more important at this time? I am satisfied with my rifle's performance, but it could be better. At the same time, I feel like I can't perform much due to utility reasons. I can't exactly give supporting fire when I'm easily able to be entirely blank for ammunition suprisingly quickly. I usually end up being support or recon, and as a result need ammunition at my disposal.
Unfortunately, I cannot afford both upgrades. I limit myself to one significant upgrade every month or two due to income, which is why I'm asking.
