That vest should hold 2 per a mag pouch. So 6 more mags on top of your already 4. 10 is a good carry number for low caps. I personally carry 9 m14 mags or 10 ak mags depending on my rifle for the day.

With it being summer i cant stress the need for proper hydration. I carry a 3L camel back and i finish it nearly every game day in the summer. The game this weekend ill be going to in Kamloops ill be carrying an extra 1L of poweraid with me to keep my electrolytes up, but its a Milsim so we wont be stopping at any point in the day and were expecting 30+ weather. Personally if i were you id go with the vest over the upgrades. More mags and proper hydration will keep you going longer in a day.
