Well, I have figured it out that it was an issue with the AR latch I was using. Put in another one and it worked perfectly. I will further figure out what is wrong with the original one, maybe post some pictures.

It may be slightly broken or something, not sure. Anyways, it was an issue with the specific latch.
Still an issue with my cut-off arm, but thats a different story.
