That's the beauty of it, it's pretty much exactly like those old slings. They're solid, simple and they work.
The new trick is a sliding buckle that lets you adjust the sling length if you have to change to your weak side or even just hang your weapon out of the way.
One quick and simple pull with your weak hand to loosen or tighten the sling. Thats it, no pull the pin and have what seems to be ten feet of nylon spaghetti at your feet.
When you use it a light goes on in your head and you wonder why no one came up with this before.
