Since it is not certified against IC's RSS-119, I'd love to see what the emission actually looks like on one of our spectrum analyzers. Given it's origins and rather cheap sticker price, I would not be surprised to discover somewhat poor phase noise, spurious, selectivity/sensitivity (12 dB SINAD) and ACP performance, along with a 99.5% power bandwidth that will probably exceed the maximum allowable. Also, it wouldn't be a shock to find the carrier stability may not remain within +/- 2.5 ppm over the stated operating temperature and frequency ranges. A radio that's certified against RSS-119 guarantees that it will meet at least the minimum performance level for these parameters under normal operating (non-malfunction) conditions.
However, none of this will be relevant to any of you who wish to purchase the radio...
it will serve it's purpose just fine as far as airsoft goes. My musings here are really just me expressing a technical curiosity...
