Keep in mind that most if not all collapsible stock m4's are front wired. So if you want to add a crane stock or any other rear battery solution you're probably going to have to rewire it from front to rear. Unless you're confident in opening up your mechbox and rewiring it then you'll have to account for the cost of a gundoc and shipping to and from.

My personal opinion is if you want to use a large battery then get a full stock m4. That'll already have it rear wired. If you want to change it to a crane stock then you can still do that but it'll save you the trouble of rewiring. And who knows, maybe you'll find that the full stock feels fine and not have to mess with it at all.
