Hrm, well it almost fits down so the barrel is locked in place, like theres about 1/4 of a cm left before the nut would be flush with the barrel lip. I'm guessing its the whole imperial vs metric threading problem?

Googling this I found some old post here on ASC where someone suggested filing down some bit of the threading?

EDIT: Problem solved, sorta. My G&G receiver works fine and takes the DD barrel nut on without any problems. The body I was trying to use it is probably a dboys (no actual brand markings on it besides the engravings) so pretty much I'm just going to have to swap bodies.

Yay tearing apart and rebuilding two rifles tonight...
