It's a good thing you're doing your research. It'll probably be trial and error as you go. The replica holosights are glorified red dots and have a tendency to be hard to see in bright light, same goes for some red dots. As far as replica's go, get what you think looks good and go from there. Or try out other peoples.

Magnification is nice at times but definitely not necessary.
