The plastic around the connector is chpeaper and less heat tolerant than deans ultra and because the leads dissapate heat very well. ... Oh and make sure you tin the leads first if you don't already know. There should be plenty of youtube vids on Deans. Also make sure you put the correct connector on the battery and charger. (exposed leads on a charged battery is no good)
very important thing to note with deans. male on the gun, female on the battery. it will save from inadvertent shorts when the battery is disconnected and in a gear bag.
