I don't think they are VFC Clones.
I've handled the O42 and O46.
Both are still Marui clones.
The 046 is still a Marui clone but utilizes the new blowback engine found in the Marui AK74M model.

For the life of me I cannot find a review of the CM.040D that addresses the metal content, particularly which parts are steel vs pot metal. I know my Kalash RK01S is all magnetic save for the trigger.
Like many other clones the CYMA brand has improved in the last 18 months.
Does anyone have experience with the newer generation of CYMA guns?
CYMA users, how have your AEGs stood up to the test of use and abuse?
If anyone has a CM.040D if you could slide a magnet over and report your findings here I would be most appreciative.
