@ curlex. yes, i could do that, but that would bring up another problem. the slide will not go forward completely, leaving 3-4 mm of space, enough to see the guide rod. i dont know if it is due to a weak recoil spring. another way to cause this is if you release the slide with the gun pointed up. i guess the gravity is stronger than the recoil spring. anyways, i sent the gun in last friday for the guy to take a look and possibly do some repairs.
