Ive seen the Marushin M500 gamed pretty good. Not entirely sure of the Maruzen M870 or the Tanaka. Theres nothing wrong with using a spring shotgun of decent quality like a TM M3 Super 90 or SPAS12. Ive used my TM M3 on many occasions, and regularly as my primary for both indoor and outdoor games and have had great success with it, and seen others use them very effectively. Just avoid clones and you should be fine with springers.
