@jaroche: Thanks for having an open mind and listening to the community about the options, you'd be amazed how many people have come here before about this exact topic and when they get feedback it's "screw you guys, later!".. If you posted a build log in the upgrades section I'm sure everyone would like to follow along on your progress.
