Go to your local hobby store and buy some silicone oil, usually sold as RC Shock Oil or something similar. Just make sure it's 100% silicone oil, and a lower weight.
Aim for 10wt (usually the lowest you can buy at hobby stores). My local hobby store didn't have 10wt when I went so I bought 25wt, and it still works fine just a little thicker.
