Sounds like you already have a solution, but here are two other solutions (in a very TokyoSeven style).

What you're looking for his nearly 100% pure Dimethicone to not eat your parts, some of the older silicone oils and greases can actually eat silicone parts; hence why alot of the old timers and gun docs use the expensive, made for airsoft only greases/oils. But, there are alot of products out there now that are safe to use.

You can use alot of 'hair serums' (it's dimethicone to put in hair for styling, so your hop-up or GBB may smell like flowers) or internal safe/toy-safe silicone sex lubes.

I've used a variety of products for grease/oil in AEG's, GBBs, propane for filling GBB mags; never had a problem, but I also was very careful knowing what I put into the airsoft parts.
