Is the triangle (the piece that connects the bit that goes around your body and connects to the side release buckle) metal or plastic? (and if that triangle is plastic, is it textured or shiney?) and, is there any makers marks on the side-release buckle?

The old sling worked ok,pretty slow to shoulder it and cycle to my secondary,plus it got hooked on my pistol holster when I did shoulder it. with the single point I can literally let go of the rifle and switch to my pistol alot faster. all the buckles are plastic with no markings,where it clips onto the rifle that buckle is metal.
