I use a Fobus (haha passive retention only... meh - I keep it tight and it's worked for three days out so far, not to mention countless hours just bumming around with holster/Hi-Capa or 1911 in my room) with a lanyard. Oddly enough, the Fobus works just fine with the Hi-Capa trigger guard. If you've got a railed frame, however, things might be a tighter fit (ahem, KJW KP-06) though this could be seen as a good thing for a holster without a form of active retention. In other words, I totally agree with Pacheko and whomever else mentioned lanyards.

Plus, a Fobus is dirt cheap.

Failing that, get an aftermarket one (Nine Ball comes to mind - $40 or so from out-of-country), as they have a slightly larger loop. Depending on the type of lanyard you get, and attachments provided, your lanyard may/may not fit in the 4.3 MSH loop - my cheapo eHobby ones don't work quite right, even with the little hooks. I cut up some some small strands of rope and wrapped them with a bit of twist tie to create a temporary solution - it holds a full metal Hi-Capa with mag, with no signs of weakening as is. However, I still feel a little insecure about the ease of which I can untwist the twist tie to free up my Hi-Capa... Perhaps buying a lanyard to match your loop is the best bet - or vice versa.
