Western Arms bushings fit perfectly (it was from an older non-SCW gun, I don't know if SCW bushings are identical or not). I was also able to install a real steel bushing but the inner diameter of the bushing was a fraction of a mm too narrow for the outer barrel (if you know what you're doing you can grind/dremel it, otherwise take the long and painful road and do it by hand with sandpaper).
Recoil spring cap... real one might fit, I can't find mine. The WA one is a bit too small. The stock WE one should be fine though, the cap should NOT be under any major stress (it gets transferred to the bushing).
Important part follows:
Now, looking at the damage your gun suffered it looks like you're using an older generation WE 1911 and did not modify the recoil spring guide. As is posted in several threads about the WE 1911s, the original spring guide is slightly too long which results in the tip of it slamming into the front of the spring cap: this in turn breaks the ring at the base of the WE spring cap and subsequently breaks the bushing.
In order to prevent this from happening again, you need to shorten the spring guide by about 1mm (as you can see in the pic, the one I modified was only a bit
more than 0.5mm shorter and it was sufficient).
The problem isn't that the stock WE bushing isn't solid, it's that it's getting hammered by the spring guide everytime the gun cycles.
