Is kevlar restricted? I was looking at a German Flecktarn Flak Vest that has kevlar inserts. I don't want it for ballistic protection at all really and I'm not keen on playing with fragmentation anything unless I have heavy lexan plate to protect me. I just really like the look and the style and it fits with the German - Modern style setup I wanna do. Also as it seems it will only cost me like $100-120 I'm thinking of ordering a second one later and fitting custom positioned molle straps.
I could take out the kevlar or maybe even order it without the kevlar but I kinda want the extra weight and "padding" effect since I'm prone to ramming into stuff and it would be nice when trying to body check doors or other stuff out of the way.
