Ritz didn’t mean to be rude; however, most newcomers to airsoft tend to ask these questions without looking for the answer in the newbie section. Here is a little guide that will help you out.

As RITZ stated earlier that sniping is not new user friendly (a decent sniping platform will cost you 600-1000$ and you will only outrange AEG by 50 feet – you can achieve better accuracy with an AEG through automatic fire – accuracy through volume  )

The Dboys Kar98 is a lousy airsoft springer that will most probably disappoint you if you intend to skirmish with it (the shell-ejecting mechanism with its easily dented shells that are very expensive and fragile, the 2 stages inner barrels which give ludicrous accuracy over pitiful range , the list goes on). This gun has one redeeming quality – it makes a nice wall hanger or display prop. In the event, you still want one – you will have to get age-verified to have access to a retailer or the classifieds who can help you get one for 350+$ (hey, that is the price of living in Canada  )

In the event, you still want an airsoft k98 – look at this forum on a guide to build one yourself
http://www.ww2airsoft.org.uk/php/php...ebe0c119a1eb20
or alternatively, you could buy a tanaka k98 from the classifieds (albeit at very high cost due to their rarity and very high quality, expect to pay 1000+$ for one)

Once, you will be age verified other more viable options for german WW2 weapons (mp40 and STG44 to be exact) will be available. You will also find legal field/games on which you will be able to play airsoft without attracting unwanted attention from neighbours or the cops 
