And 5x is quite fine for my use, even in thick brush and only shooting within 120ft, allows me to actually shoot through the open spots between branches in the way. In the end, the user will determine what works best for them, but limiting oneself to a 4x only scope is like trying to run a three leg race with a flip flop. 3-9x40 is the best of all uses, and users will determine what they prefer to use mostly.
