Like honestly, 40RPS @ 500FPS? Chris Costa doesn't even need that kind of ROF to keep heads down. Personally I find that I need a more realistic standard to see it's practical ability.

I do agree with hunterseeker about the decorative carbon fibre. From all of the pictures that I have seen, I cannot see any function.
Also agree with his argument about energy efficiency. Gearbox conversion efficiency is so terrible as is that anything less than a 15% increase is not really acceptable especially at the price point that systema is asking.
I have a rant/bone to pick with Systema marketing or their business practices. Who the fuck runs an AEG motor at 4v? See there press release on energy
here: Who the hell runs a 4v battery pack? What is the Amps being made available to the motor? How are these charts remotely relevant.
Chris(t) Costa doesnt care about airsoft. Accuracy by both volume and consistency. If you are behind a thick bush. shooting my .43 through the AEG will get to you EVENTUALLY a real gun would just kill you. I used to be a very strong proponent of tight groups and highly accurate guns and ROF be damned. Now I've shifted more to the middle road, decent ROF (30-40 @ 435FPS alberta limits,) is the sweet spot but you should still be able to hit a man sized target out to 150ft with semi under controlled conditions.
Also those hot guns do last quite a long time, it's only the extreme ROF guns @ high FPS that need repair each game. Honestly, the amount of change in tech over the last 4-5 years has been astounding. 4 years ago people where saying you MUST have SUPER TORQUE gears + an aluminum piston, + Super motor to achieve 400 FPS with reliability. Now the clones are selling at the 400 FPS mark with what we call shit parts.
There is a lesson to be learned by building a no limit gun that can last a full day of gaming. Those GB's are very highly tuned machines that take a lot of work and experience to properly assembly and are good to game. I want to build a custom LMG with the cyclone sector gear, and run a 60+ROF gun @ alberta limits (435). You can take all of that knowledge and apply it to the field limits and have a Solid GB that only needs a good clean, relube, shim every now and then, and will last you many many rounds.
@YuhaoYang
You must have gotten a lemon G&P, the ones that I have worked on have been excellent aside from the Piston and sometimes piston head.
Also the torus shell is pretty Pooh, I cannot run the Siegetek gears in the Torus. However, if you want to keep the torus with all modify parts than that is awesome. But, at that price point you may as well go Prometheus since it is a huge jump in quality over Modify.
