Paypal is NOT safe by any means. If you are purchasing via Ebay, then they will deal with things when situations arise. However, If you purchased the item outside of Ebay, Paypal will do Absolutely NOTHING. I Learned this the hard way when a package was lost by Canada Post. They say "There is nothing they can do" and basically walk away with your money laughing. Over 500$ worth of parts went missing.
