If you think 400 USD for these things are too high then don't comment. The radio itself is 190 USD at cheapest, Spartan shell is 60 USD and Nexus PTT is 50 USD. That's just 300 USD without connectors, work and shipping.

Don't forget that this radio is a dual band radio. You won't need a dual headset or two radios using this radio since it handles both VHF and UHF.

You of all people should know that having the best things costs lots...?
