Lightly lubricate it with Silicone Oil before use.
After use, clean and re lubricate the rifle. Clean using a clean lint free cloth only, no solvents or water is required and only use light pressure. Any sand or particulate matter on metal surfaces should be lightly brushed off using a soft bristle brush (like a horse hair paintbrush) to avoid gouging.
DO NOT EVER EVER EVER use firearms lubricant. Period.
