Unless I wasn't clear somewhere...absolutely I would not recommend mesh eyewear protection to anyone.
Further...for protection against facial bleeders, broken teeth, scarring...not much beats a solid paintball mask. But a good solid mesh mouth mask will take the worst out of a mouth shot (i.e. broken teeth)
I hang a cut off piece of PB facemask off my T800's...doesn't cover the cheeks...just the front of the face really. It's annoying but I've taken several shots to it without issue.
