I've always been a big believer in prometheus double torque helical gears. Work fantastic, never had any issues.
My M249 actually runs with triple torque gears, and it's getting 1350rpm right now, and it's still only at 80% of the motor speed with the 11.1v battery

IMO there's no reason to get high speed gears, it's just tougher on your motor.
