torque motors arent necessarily slow, they just have more power.
You can just as easily use a torque gearset and a torque motor to get excellent ROF.
Torque motors can push 440fps on standard ratio gears with the right battery no problem, it's just a matter of the right combo.
But I'd recommend getting a torque motor. Having more torque usually allows the motor to run closer to it's max RPM.
