Hmmm.. The 1911 feels so thin in my hands. The M9 though, fits perfectly in my hands, as if it was made for them. The curvature, thickness of grip.. everything. The hogue grips just sweeten the deal by adding grooves for my fingers and it feels much more secure with hogue grips.
