So I was picking my girlfriend up from work at Bentley over the holidays and noticed a stack of boxes with a picture of a boot and the word Magic Spiker on them, I looked at them and they appeared to be a slip on cleat attachement for boots.
I couldn't resist it for $10 so I bought a pair in Large as that was the biggest they had at the time. I slipped them on my CF Combat boots, Mark IIs I think? And tried them out to see how well they actually worked. Well they didn't fit that well on my size 14 boots, and they slipped off as I couldn't get the straps to reach the right places so they would stay on, however when they were on they were fantastic, I was able to run across snow and ice without slipping and even up steep hills I would normally be sliding down. I finally found a pair in XL and grabbed them, and I must say they fit perfectly and have not fallen off yet. For $10 you really can't go wrong.
