Seems like every other month someone brings up carbon fiber airsoft parts. I don't think the cost will be worth the weight reduction but that's coming from someone who's strong and healthy.
Fiberglass is strong and just as light. And consider that many real weapons use old fashion plastic polymers and they work fine. It's not like airsoft guns NEED a material that strong. Carbon fiber parts in airsoft is just an expensive gimmick IMO.
