the Magpul G&P I found is like $350 and as far as I can tell is a superior weapon. My goal is to build the CA rifle to exceed the performance of the G&P without exceeding the price tag by sacrificing the metal receivers with plastic. My hope is to get a superior weapon and have $ leftover to buy the magpul asap, condor single point sling, magpul ranger plate, magpul vertical grip and mapul trigger guard I have on my real rifle.

thanks Cactus & Venture. that is good advice. Basically knowing the risks help me decide if buying the CA to upgrade is smarter than just buying the G&P
