You got most of it. Though I should clarify that yes, junk BB's can tear apart your retaining oring but I'm also not talking about BB's with obvious seams. Just BB's I wouldn't put down my rifle.
Okay so a few more do's and don'ts:
- Don't load the BB's before gassing the nades. Though I k ow of one guy who does it on necessity since it wouldn't be safe to loaf and gas all his nades prior to arriving at the field.
- Do wear googles if you have to gas them after you load them
- Do advise others when you are gassing loaded nades and ask them to put on eye wear
- Do get a couple extra hand loaders to facilitate loading. With several nades, it makes actually loading time go by faster since you're not constantly filling the loader.
- Do keep loaded and gassed nades in their pouches until ready to use.
- Don't leave a loaded and gassed nade in the sun when using CO2. (this includes your CO2 tank) 'cooking' the nade will cause the valve to become twitchy and I have personally seen an xm108 launch itself 50' when the operator was simply dropping it into the revolver. Yes, he ate a mouthful of BB's but didn't take a, solid hunk of metal, mortar in the face.
As with Wildcard, I'm sure there's more to add
