It's slow because of 3 things...and changing one will affect the others and ultimately your ROF.

1. Small battery...mini batteries and small cells (2/3A) cannot sustain high drain levels
- try a LiPo/LiFe battery
2. Crappy-ish motor...it's not the greatest
- change to a good motor (short neck) that can pull a stiff spring at a higher RPM
- changing to a better motor will demand more power (see #1)
3. You're pulling a very stiff spring...the stiffer the spring, the harder the motor works to pull it. If the motor is designed/spec'd for a lesser spring...it will use more power and work harder to pull a heavier spring = lower ROF
- downgrade to a weaker spring

Beware of going for a very high ROF in a SAW...your boxmag has to be able to keep up with it a feed BBs fast enough. You may find yourself modding your box mag too.
