WE makes some good products but they require a higher level of maintenance then any AEG. Expect to be replacing some (relatively inexpensive) parts every few thousand rounds and be sure to keep a rigorous cleaning routine, they are considerably cheaper options to other gbb rifles and they have an interesting product line. I would suggest you try to stick to their newer open bolt design BUT the older design was functional "although required additional attention to detail and some modification/tweeking".

I would not recommend them as a starting point for someone newer to airsofting but if you really want to go ahead with it, that's your call. Though I recommend you get age verified and try buying from the classifieds to save a little cash as GBB's come and go on the classifieds with some frequency.
