Since you are asking about headwear, I would say a boonie is your best bet (you can get them in all forms of camo), the brim wont stick out as much as you think (I think a baseball cap brim would stick out more, but would also work). Although it might not be the best idea for middle of summer but a winter hat would work too (its thick). And of course there is a helmet. But sometimes no matter what, you just have to take the hit.
