it all depends on how tight the pouch is. One G3 mag in a double stanag usually works about as well as a AUG mag in a double stanag pouch.
I went with a set of shingle pouches in .308

but got tired of the tightness and the weight of molle so I got double mag pouches instead, it's MUCH more practical and fast to reload.
