[QUOTE=m102404;1499058]I've always stood a good chance at hitting what I've aimed at with a pistol...regardless of the pistol at hand...because I tend to know my limits with whatever I'm using. Be it 3 yards or 50ft. There's very, very limited effect at just slinging shots out for the sake of pulling a trigger.

That said...a tightbore barrel and nice hopup rubber is probably the most effective things you can do to improve the accuracy of any given pistol.

A highflow valve in your mag will give you a bit more oomph to sling a BB out there as well.

Pretty much every other "upgrade" is more for pistol action/feel, durability or cosmetics. (recoild springs/rods, different nozzles/pistons, steel parts, etc...)

Accuracy = Consistency
- fame to slide, slide to outer barrel, outer barrel to inner...fit and return point after each shot is what makes an accurate pistol
- consistent gas strikes...knocker valve and hammer spring
- good spin...hopup rubber and nub/ticklers
- good sights
- good heavy BBs...consistent flight pattern

Forget about max range altogether...focus on your effective range. That is the range that YOU can reliably hit what you are aiming at. A miss that keeps going 20ft past your target is the same as any other miss.

thank you for the reply! Actually, what I meant was the effective range not the maximum range. I didn“t get everything you said but are you are saying that the high output valve and the tight bore barrel are all I need for range/accuracy?
In fact I am only trying to hit at target accurately at 30 meters and I wonder if a 5'' barrel could do that
thanks again!
