I use one because my primary shoots really hard, when I get close or for CQB.
If you want performance for CQB, Id say you should get the AEP G18c. Its fast and can hold alot of ammo(with that huge mag comming out). But it doesnt have much for range.
Springers can have lots of range, but reloading is ugly slow...and most feel like crap. Your gonna pay close to as much as a GBB for a hi-performance springer.
GBBs are fun, sexy, and effective. Range, power, good rate of fire. Thats what you want for pistol-games.
Sure, its impressive to kill someone with a springer....but in an indoors pistol-only game, its gonna be rare. Get something thats gonna make you the most effective player you can be, a AEP or GBB...personally, Id go GBB.
