Ya sorbo takes care of the shock on the mechbox, but aluminum weighs more than most thermal composite plastics , so it can be down fall for people trying to keep they're piston assembly light weight. All that aside, the mechbox seems to be of good quality and a good mix between price and performance, so I think it would be a good choice. As for the modify modular kits, there pretty sweet . I got a set of torque ups in a trade, and I'm just waiting for a test gun to try them out in. I personally will still shim my gear sets the old fashioned way, the modular sets are of very good quality, but I prefer my methods.
